This is the first time that I am posting something on my blog. I am not good at writting so please excuse my mistakes and ignore them.
I would like to discuss that "How should we go in our life?". Should we live our life with full honesty or should we be dishonest wherever it benefits us? I have some points for both options.
For Honesty:
1. Honesty in my opinion gives you a lot of self satisfaction in life.
2. Honesty can increase your reputation in soceity.
3. But Hoensty may not fetch you wealth and success.
4. Honesty and truthfullness may bring a lot of sufferings in your life and your families life.
5. Honesty I think is for an Ideal society where all are honest.
For dishonesty:
1. Being dishonest may decrease your sufferings.
2. It may make you wealthy and successful.
3. It may decrease the suffering of your family
4. It lets you survive in this materialistic world with a little ease.
6. But it may bring some guilty feeling within onself.
7. It harms your reputation in soceity.
8. It may cause litigations and may well be the cause of imprisonement.
Now these were some points in my opinion. Here is a real world example which I am posting for you all to give a thought. This is a comparison between honest and dishonest person. There are exceptions every where and I know many people will go with the exceptions but just give this a thought.
Suppose there is an Honest person 'A' and a dishonest person 'B'. 'A' and 'B' both live for 65 years. They both start there carreer at the age of suppose 25. Now 'A' because of his honesty could not earn to much for his and his familie's living. He and his family always have to work had for small things of life. 'B' on the other hand earns a lot of wealth and his family lives lavishly and happily. 'A' has earned a lot of respect for himself in the soceity but for 'B' the same cannot be said. People respect 'B' infront of him because of his wealth but at the back people always criticise 'B'. At the age of 55 years 'B' faces an imprisonement of 5 years for all the scams that he has done and has to pay some penalty also. But his family is still living lavishly on the wealth that 'B' has earned. On the other hand at 60 'A' is suffering from a dangerous disease and doesn't have enough money for getting it cured. The whole family is worried and unhappy. Then at 60 'B' gets out of jail spends the rest 5 years with his family. But he also suffers from a disease and has to go for frequent medication for the rest of his life. But he spents the time with his family happily till death. At the time of death 'A' has a huge repute in soceity but inspite of his good reputation no one came forward to help him. 'B' has a wery bad name but on his death lot of people turned on to console his faily. Also after their death the family of 'B' is leading a very comfortable life but family of 'A' is still struggling.
Now the point here is both 'A' and 'B' live till 65, both suffer their last 10 years but if we see properly then we can say that 'A' had struggled since the age of 25. That means 'A' being honest strruggles for nearly 40 years and 'B' being dishonest sufferes only last 10 years. Here I am not considering what happens after death as none of us know exactly. We have only heard about heaven and hell but not experienced it. But the example above is the reality of todays world.
So what do you think? What should we choose? I myself will always like to be honest and earn some respect rather than earn a bad name. But what about the family?
